Tour of Homes... Christmas Tour of Homes

Today I am linking up with Kelly's Korner to show you my home at Christmas time. Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday. Not necessarily the presents, but I feel my home is so much more welcoming and everyone knows I love some Christmas lights. I love to sit at night around my Christmas tree and just stare at it.

This is a favorite ornament. I went to Margo's in Tulsa one year with my older sister, Tara, for an ornament signing. I got to meet Christopher Radko who designs all those famous hand blown glass ornaments. She has a tree full of them at her house.

This is where he signed it on the back. How special is that?

I love to put Christmas balls throughout the house. It is an easy way to add a nice Christmas touch!

This is my tree this year. I bought the star a few years ago and finally found it again. I have several tubs of Christmas that I don't put out. Basically, I wish I would but I run out of time every year. I have bought stuff to do another tree with Denver's ornaments from growing up, but haven't done it yet. I am hoping to get a tree half off to put in our guest room. I think his family would enjoy seeing that when they come visit.

We did get new stockings this year! I like the colors a lot!

They match my tree skirt I talked about making earlier this year. I am weird and prefer my gifts to match my theme. I found the cutest gift tags at Hobby Lobby with my mom this year. They are red and silver, and full of glitter. Denver loves all the glitter everywhere. ;)

A few of Denver's nutcrackers. He loves these and I like to put them out. I put more balls in our cut glass bowl. I bought the keys to make Santa's keys I have heard about. This is what I am planning on printing up and tying to the keys. Isn't it the cutest?

Dear Santa, This magic key works just for you, please open the door and come on through. Thank you for coming to our home tonight. We are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Thank you Santa for the gifts you bring. Thank you Lord for everything.

I love all of our ornaments. I try to stay in a red and silver theme, but some of them are special gifts to us so they of course go on the tree too!

Denver is great to help me wrap. He wraps and I attach the ribbon. We make a great team!

Here are some of my Christmas cards. I got a lot more in the mail after I took this picture, so I am happy the Christmas tree card holder is filling up! I love to get all the cards, especially the picture ones!

I put towels out in our guest bathroom. I have several Christmas towels and I like how they give a little touch.

This is our dining table in the kitchen. I put the balls in the vase and wooden bowl. I like to add some garland to the cabinets, and hang balls from the light fixture. I still like to keep it simple because we use this table for lots of things!

I put one of the nutcrackers in the kitchen. It's taller than the others and it looks great in the red kitchen

This is a new addition this year. Denver loves to hunt so I though it would be cute to have for Christmas.

My mother in law got me this new apron for Christmas. She plans on adding my initials to it after Christmas!

I laughed because I took my pictures this week, and then saw Kelly's post and she puts out her Southern Living cookbooks too. I have several and they are right up there with the Pioneer Woman. Just a hint, but I buy mine the day after Christmas when they are half off.

This is a bowl I have had for probably over twelve years. I love it still and have it displayed in my kitchen!

I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas tour of my home. I love comments, so let me know you stopped by and what you love best!

Also, be sure to check out my Outside Tour of the lights!

  3. Mesh on Christmas trees seems to be really big lately. I haven't tried it out on our tree yet, but the more I see it the more I want to try it out.

And just letting you know, I'm stopping by from Kelly's Korner.
